ADHD

You know what to do — doing it is the hard part.

You’ve always been told you’re “smart but scattered,” “so capable, if only you could focus,” or “just need to try harder.” Internally, you might be constantly spinning — juggling unfinished tasks, forgetting deadlines, zoning out during conversations, or overwhelmed by the simplest decisions.

Living with ADHD often means living with shame, exhaustion, and a sense of never quite measuring up, even when you’re trying your hardest. But ADHD isn’t a failure of willpower and support is possible.

ADHD shows up in ways people don't always expect.

What can ADHD look and feel like?

  • Trouble focusing or staying organized

  • Procrastination followed by last-minute pressure

  • Feeling mentally “cluttered”

  • Feeling overstimulated

  • Forgetfulness or difficulty following through with tasks

  • Time blindness or struggling with transitions

  • Big emotions and quick frustration

  • Chronic shame, perfectionism, or imposter syndrome

Why does this happen?

ADHD affects how your brain regulates attention, emotions, and motivation. Many people (especially women, people of color, or first-gen professionals) go undiagnosed until adulthood and internalize harmful messages about being “lazy” or “too much.”

Your coping strategies — masking, overworking, people-pleasing — may have helped you get by, but they’re exhausting.

Ready to work with ADHD and not against it?

Therapy is more than just tips for staying organized. It’s a space to explore how ADHD impacts your identity, your self-worth, and your relationships — and to build systems that actually work for you.

I work from a neurodivergent-affirming lens, meaning I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered in how you move through the world.

With support, you can begin to:

  • Feel more grounded and less scattered in daily life

  • Break the cycle of overthinking, self-doubt, and internalized shame

  • Learn how to work with your energy, not against it

  • Create systems and boundaries that actually stick

  • Trust your own process, even if it doesn’t look “typical”
